Before you pack
- — CRF300L/Rally and XR-class bikes run tube tires: carry tubes, levers and patches, not a plug kit.
- — Africa Twin is tubeless on the DCT/Adventure Sports cast-wheel variants and tubed on spoked wheels — check which you have.
- — 10 mm and 12 mm cover most of the chassis; the fairing screws are the JIS ones that get destroyed.

Reversible screwdriver — JIS/Phillips + flat
Carb bowls, clamps, bodywork and inspection covers. On Japanese bikes the cross-head screws are JIS, not Phillips — a Phillips driver cams out and rounds them off.
