- — Enduro models use Yamaha powerplants — engine-side screws may be JIS while the chassis is European.
- — Caballero road models run tube-type spoked wheels: no plug kit.

Reversible screwdriver — JIS/Phillips + flat
Carb bowls, clamps, bodywork and inspection covers. On Japanese bikes the cross-head screws are JIS, not Phillips — a Phillips driver cams out and rounds them off.
Spare clutch and brake lever
The first thing to snap in a tip-over, and the one break that genuinely ends the ride. World-champion enduro riders carry both in a bum bag.
